SOLICITATION

The Airport Study Task Force (a group consisting of the City of Kankakee, the Kankakee Valley Airport Authority and Kankakee County) seek to solicit a consultant to perform land use, transportation, and economic development planning for an area to be specified around the Greater Kankakee Airport.  The study is to be financed by funding contributed by each of the participants, in the total amount of $50,000.  Kankakee County will be the fiscal agent for the contract, and the oversight committee has been jointly selected by the three participating agencies.

An RFQ for the project has been prepared, and is available from Mr. Mike Martin (mmartin@k3county.net) at the Kankakee County Planning Department.  Requests for this document must be received by close of business on April 11, 2008.  Information on what project proposals must include and the deadline dates for proposal submissions is included in the RFQ.
